In our world today, we value things and use people when in the actual sense people are meant to be valued while things are meant to be used in this message among other powerful insights, Pst Andrew drew our attention to the kind gesture of Jesse, the father of David not only in sending stuff to his children in battlefront but also to the captain under whom his children were serving. There is no evidence that Jesse knew this captain. He was just being thoughtful and decided to show kindness to a stranger. Who knows whether it was this captain that took David to Saul.
